The University Library for many years selected articles in local newspapers
which were dealing with the University of Namibia, and also any advertisements
placed by the University in Namibia newspapers. The cuttings are kept in
a file in date order. Since the beginning of 2003, it was decided to expand
the scope of the cuttings to cover general themes as well, to make local
sources available to users. Articles are entered now on a database since
2003, and can be searched in web based form. Use the 'How
to search' button to learn how to search the database.
